Digby began his literary life as a collection of bedtime stories created for my children when we lived in Ruskington, Lincs. (UK)

I worked as a substitute Teacher while living in the UK and the area I lived in was remote, by British Standards, so I often had to travel 30 miles to the school I was assigned to for the day. As I began to learn the area I also began to notice several churches standing alone in fields. I discovered later that many were abandoned.  Combined with the driving I had plenty of time to compose stories about one particular church and the mice that lived inside of them.
